10 Coolest New Photography Gadgets

I still have the Polaroid camera that my mom had when I was a kid. It's a massive thing, ungainly in the extreme, and took pretty terrible and often out of focus pictures. Plus film was so expensive back then (and we were poor), so I only have about twenty polaroid photos of my mom and me when I was my daughter's age. I've been slowly scanning them to have digital versions because they are fading with time.

We've come a long way from the early 70s when it comes to photography. My daughter has been photographed close to daily for all seven years of her life - and while not every image is a keeper, she will never wonder what she looked like as a kid the way I do (I had super long hair for about four years at one point and I have zero pictures from that time).

The good news is this: photography continues to get better and easier, and the latest photography gadgets will surprise you.
