Budgeting App Level Lands on Android, Shows You How Much You Can Spend

Android: Previously mentioned smart budgeting app Level does one thing and does it well: Shows you how much you have to spend once all of your bills and obligations are taken care of. Now, it can help Android users stay on top of their funds, too.

Connect your banks to Level, and the app does the rest. As soon as you spend on something, the amount is reflected in Level, and deducted from the amount you have to spend that day, week, or month. Any rollover is applied to the following month, and the app does a great job of showing you all of your activity across all connected accounts. The app can tell which of your transactions are bills and savings versus what's your income, and helps you see how much you have to actually spend once all the bills are paid off (including the ones coming between now and payday).

Level came out for iOS a while ago, but the move to Android is a welcome one. The video above gives you a quick (albeit quirky) rundown of its major features. The Android app has all of the same tools built-in, and while it doesn't support as many banks or credit unions as say, Mint, if yours are supported it can do a great job of giving you a one-screen view of your bank account's health and how much you actually have to use. Think of it like a pretty version of the envelope method, only on your phone. Hit the link below to give it a try, it's free.
