Samsung Is The Top Android Manufacturer In Quarter 2

Samsung has had great success with its Galaxy range of smartphones and tablets, and have been the top maker of Android devices for a while, and now according to a recent report Samsung is also top for quarter 2.

The news comes from Opera Mediaworks, and Samsung managed to have a 58.45 percent share of Android devices sold, in second place is HTC with a 10.88 percent share.

The reports also looked at other mobile platforms, including Apple's iOS, and Apple is the top smartphone maker with a 43.75 percent share, in second place is Samsung with a 17.41 percent share, and in third place is Nokia with a 10.43 percent share.
