Months later than we initially expected, Google finally took the wraps off its next version of Android at an event on Wednesday in San Francisco. Dubbed Android 4.3, the updated OS is not the major overhaul that many were hoping for. Still, it does offer some noteworthy additions.
Devout Android users were hoping to see a new, possibly 5.0 version of Android at Google I/O back in May. With today's release, though, it appears Google has chosen to take a slightly slower development route.
